A FAVOURITE PLACE
“New Forest Splendour”
Do you have a favourite ‘go – to’ place? A special beach or walk or area of countryside?
Over the years I have been more and more at one with the New Forest in Hampshire, UK.
It’s a beautiful forest with wild ponies, fabulous cycle routes, fascinating villages and miles of heathland.
In July 2020 I went there for a day trip. I was able to sketch, to read to catch up with family and we were not in Lockdown. It was a perfect day.
This warm coloured mixed media painting represents the beauty of the New Forest but also that feeling of when our heart soar and all is right with the world.
